It's been looking more and more like an overcast and cool Spring here at the coast. For the Cape Fear area, we are expecting to have night time low's in the upper 40's/low 50's in the coming week. You may want to wait another week or two before moving some of your orchids outside.
Coastal Living Show - Stop by the Coastal Living Show today and tomorrow (3/21 & 22) in downtown Wilmington this weekend. It's at Schwartz Center, Cape Fear Community College. CFOS will have brochures for our Grower's Day at the Show.
Warm Weather, Fresh Air! It's been a long winter and our weather has finally turned spring-like. Take some of those orchids that have been cooped up all winter and get them out for a few hours in this spring air. Watch out for direct sunlight!
Spring Ahead - We had a brief taste of spring this week, sandwiched between wintery weather. It's nice to see a blooming orchid in the house on such dreary days. Don't forget to move clocks forward 1 hr this weekend for Daylight Savings Time.
